GETTING THERE

DRIVING

Mooney Mooney Club is a little oasis situated at the end of the peninsula looking southward over the Hawkesbury River, just one hour north of Sydney.

BY BOAT

Dock at the Club Wharf

If you choose to visit us by boat the Club’s wharf is available for docking.

Simply call the Club on 9985 9244 on arrival and our staff will provide a code for the gate.

Tides are at Fort Denison with the following variations:

  • Lion Island Nil
  • Dangar Island + 20 min
  • Peats Ferry Bridge (The Road Bridge) + 1hr
  • Bar Point + 1hr 30min
  • Wisemans Ferry +2hr 15min High + 2hr 30min Low
  • Windsor Bridge +5hr 15min High + 5hr 50min Low

VISITOR INFORMATION

Entry requirements

Following the NSW Government’s legislative changes relating to a Club’s 5km (15km) rule, Visitors residing within this radius to the Club are no longer required to become members.

However, all Visitors and Guests of Members still need to sign in and provide their name, address and signature as per the Registered Clubs Act.

Entry onto the club premises is limited to any person who:

  • is a Member of the Club
  • is a Guest of a Member
  • is a Temporary Member (Visitor)
  • is a Member of another club with similar objects to those of the Club
  • is an Honorary Member
  • is attending a Function which is associated with the celebration of Christmas, is of a cultural, educational, religious, political, charitable, literary, professional, patriotic, athletic, industrial and community nature
  • is a Member of any club attending the club for an organised sport or competition.

Responsible Adult

A responsible adult must be 18 years or older and belong to one or more of the following categories:

  • Parent, step-parent or guardian of the minor;
  • The minor’s spouse or any person who, although not legally married to the minor, ordinarily lives with the minor as the minor’s spouse on a permanent and domestic basis;
  • A person who is, for the time being, standing in as the parent of the minor, such as an uncle or aunt looking after children, or a school teacher on a school excursion.

A casual boyfriend, girlfriend, mutual friend, older brother or sister babysitting is not considered a responsible adult.
